Per the request of Recipient – scroll is designed as royal document, based on Royal Grant Charter, circa 1300. Hand made seal for Byron and Ariella, Sovereigns at the time, hand woven band to attach the Patent of Arms illumination granted by Crowns.
Not imaged – multiple practice sheets for calligraphic hand. Imitation to match original as best as possible. Notable in practice, strong indicator being ‘tall’ letters 3X height of main lines. Oblique lines, such as those coming off Q or R, angle more horizontal and take up 2 letter spaces. More study wanting, but feel and sense of original being target.
Materials are Pergamenta and ink, done with quill pen. Linen for band, and seal. Goache used for Patent Arms.
